Wedding Flower Consultation

We want to reassure every couple that they don’t need to have an extensive (or indeed any) knowledge of flowers in order to achieve something that is truly beautiful and bespoke to them. Many couples feel nervous articulating how they would like their wedding flowers to look but with careful planning and communication we are confident that you will be thrilled with what we come up with together.

We tailor our designs to suit you, your venue and your budget. During your initial private consultation, we’ll ask about your wedding theme and colour schemes, about your likes and dislikes, the church or venue, a rough idea of quantities and budget.

These initial meetings always end in an explosion of ideas!! We’ll consider every nuance, the fragrance of your bouquet and how it sits against your dress, which flowers hold a special place in your heart, what overall feeling your flowers should evoke. The purpose of the consultation is really to get to know each other better. It is so important that you choose a florist who inspires you and whom you trust. Similarly, we get to understand your likes, dislikes, ideas and inspiration.

Initial Consultations can be via email, phone call, Zoom or in-person here at our Workshop Studio. We will go through all your floral requirements from the bouquet to your reception plans. We will offer styling advice and suggestions as well as discussing flower varieties and their particular seasonal availability.

We'll establish a theme, chosen colours, together with the mood and feel you are trying to create; one which truly works for you and at your chosen venue.

We usually schedule an hour or so for this first appointment and recommend inviting someone to join you in this experience. We think two people is the perfect number… otherwise, it can get confusing!

Its always easier to chat over a cuppa so our kettle is always on for you !!

During your private final appointment; A little over a month before your wedding day (6-8 weeks) we will have a detailed meeting in person, via email or over the phone to chat through all of your final floral styling requirements, as well as discussing timing and logistics. This is your opportunity to make any last-minute changes no matter how big or small.

We will then send your final fully itemised invoice which will allow you to check everything off.

By sharing our extensive knowledge, ideas and advice, the design of your wedding flowers is created after truly understanding your style, loves and aspirations.  We are here to alleviate any stress and make the journey of choosing your wedding flowers one which will deliver an end result to take your breath away.

You're in safe hands. On your wedding morning our Wedding Florists will personally deliver, arrange and set up all of your finished florals and décor. We will coordinate with any other suppliers on the day as required and ensure that everything is arranged exactly the way you dreamed it would be.

We will then hand deliver your bouquet to you as you get ready, wishing you love and luck as you start this exciting next chapter of your life.
